What is A.Y.A.

Alief Youth Association is a non-profit organization chartered by the State of Texas and is dedicated to the development and supervision of sports among the youth in its sphere of influence.

Purpose

To implant firmly in the boys and girls of the Alief community the deeds of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence so that they will be well adjusted, stronger and happier boys and girls and will grow to be good, clean, healthy and trustworthy men and women.

Objective

To be provided by supervised competitive sports: the attainment of athletic skills or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future men and women is of primary importance. As our community has grown, so has AYA. Over 27,000 boys and girls have participated in our sports activities through the years.
