The Germain family's dedication to our organization
will always be remembered by those of us that knew them.
For those of you that don't know Jean - her and her husband, Mike were
dedicated members of AYA for years. They were so committed to helping
to maintain our baseball fields they purchased their own riding mower
just to mow AYA fields exclusively.
We feel honored that we had the opportunity to get to know
Jean. She was a genuine person who always supported her son Taylor's baseball
activities. She helped our organization in many ways, her committments
included being team mom, helping with opening day ceremonies, helping
to work tournaments & satellite concessions, picking up trash just
laying on the ground, helping with field maintenance, scorekeeping, and
working concessions.
Her son Taylor has played baseball at AYA for several years. Taylor refurbished
the Pony press and storage box for an Eagle Scout project not too long
ago. Taylor completed an outstanding job, providing the materials and
labor on a much needed project, and for that we are very grateful and
appreciative.
Jean Germain touched many people's lives in a caring way
and her memory will always remain in those of us in our organization that
had the pleasure of knowing her.
An educational fund has been set up for her son. Taylor has just earned
his Eagle Scout award. Please send donations to: Michael Taylor Germain,
